I skipped college today just to watch the new episode of Heroes, and then to sit around and eat tofu in my pyjamas. I've missed a lot of college this year, and worse, I don't really care.

Yep, this is now my life.

(but yay! New Heroes!)

mood: blah blah

Had a good time at Warpcon, think last year was more fun socially, though this year was more fun for actual gaming. I ran a GURPS Horror game that one of my best friends wrote, which was nerve wracking since it was my second time ever being a GM, but it went very smoothly, and the players seemed to enjoy themselves. Yay! On the Saturday I met other crazy (but nice) Doctor Who fans and we played in a Hamlet/Doctor Who crossover, and I got to be the Doctor. Hehehe. Lots of fun.

Sadly, I was feeling really sick Saturday night, so ended up in another friend's bed, with my lab partner, sleeping the sleep of the dead. Probably the only proper night's sleep I've gotten since November...

I've been with my boyfriend, the lovely Peter, for a year this Friday... rather terrifying, though no where near as scary as being 400 words into a 8,000 paper with 4 days in which to do it.

Um, yes. Hello again.

I've been rather absent from LJ for oh, near five months now. Sorry. ^_^

Basically college has been kicking my ass solidly. :( And RL has gone from good, to bad, to the worst ever, to okay again. It's been a wee bit mixed up.

In short, hello, welcome, wilkommen, bienvenue, failte... I'm back to LJ.

One question: my webspace provider wanted me to pay 14 times what I paid last year for my webspace, so I'm currently without a website. I'm happy to share illegally downloaded media with everyone, so can anyone suggest a good hosting site?

I'm still alive and well! Just not on LJ right now, that should change with the upcoming academic year!

I ended up in France briefly, and I'm currently back in Cork working in my GPs as a receptionist/IT. I'm also moving away from my family (about time too!) to a house near college, with my boyfriend and two mutual friends. It's going to cost me pretty much all my savings, but if I stay with my parents any longer, I shall go mad. Absolutely bonkers, so it's for the best. I move in three weeks time, I'm highly excited. :)

So this is goodbye, for now! I should be back uploading stuff in October-ish, when the new seasons of things start and my FTP client is itching to upload stuff. :) So long, farewell!

Apologies to those who wanted the episodes and can't use filesharing sites, I've been away! All are .avi format and roughly 350MB in size.

2X10 'Love and Monsters'

2X11 'Fear Her'

2X12 'Army of Ghosts'

2X13 'Doomsday'

They're hosted on my webspace so please don't spread the link, right-click, save as and comment. These (and all the other eps I've uploaded- see tags) will be up until the New Year!

In other news: have passed all my exams, into third year Environmental Plant Biotechnology I go. *gulp*

Still not King yet.

Also, still not vanished from LJ! I´m currently in Tenerife, in an internet cafe, listening to the Germany V. Italy match, exiled from my hotel since like always, mother has managed to book the one all the Germans in the country are in, and the place is swarming with slightly hysterical, heat-stroked Germans, gripped by football.

Rome was okay. The art and history was breathtaking, but besides that I didn´t really enjoy the holiday much. Parental issues and such. Plus the uber heat, and well, I´m every sterotype of pale, freckly, green-eyed Irish. I don´t burn, I cinder.

Soooo... life hasn´t been terribly exciting of late: Peter and I have been going out six months, which is both cool, and terrifying at once, went and visted him after Rome, he´s coming to visit me when I get back from Tenerife, yay! I´ve eaten a lot of ice-cream, played a lot of World of Warcraft, and found a new and worring love for Sambuca drank with toasted tuna sandwiches. All in all, my life is just meandering along towards October, and the new academic year where crazy things happen and I get given insane deadlines by different departments and I explode and it´s apparently amusing to read.

The end. (aren´t ye glad? :))

God, my life has gotten so boring. Exam results come out this week, Peter has gone back to Cahir, my WoW server is down. *tear* On the upside, I'm heading off to Rome next week!

Life has been really boring of late, besides obsessive World of Warcraft playing. Thankfully Peter is coming down from Cahir on Tuesday for a few days so I'll be obnoxiously cheery for a few day, and we'll hopefully do lots of fun, crazy and completly random things. Yay!

World of Warcraft has kidnapped my life and is holding it for ransom. I don't usually play computer games, and I could usually not give a damn about them, but omg, WoW has taken my life over.

Example: my elbow and wrist is swollen from excessive mouse clicking, and I'm a super souped up Level 14 after just two days. (I'm Tarabitha on Steamwheedle Cartel if anyone wants to meet up/trade in-game).

I'm currently sitting in college, not playing due to firewalls, but I'm not studying either. BLAH. Anyone else have their lives snatched from them via WoW? Is there ever anyway to get free?

I did however take a break to eat some proper food and watch the Heineken European Rugby Final on Saturday, where I am very, very proud to say that my beloved Munster won and are now champions of Europe. YAY!

Today I have my third last exam, Sedimentology. Half the course is straight forward sedimentary petrology, taught by my favourite lecturer in the entire world, so I paid it lots of attention and then revised it. It's nice, happy geology, relevant and interesting.

The other half? The other half is taught by my least favourite lecturer and is basically fluid dynamics and other stuff I can't do even if I had a month to study for it, rather than an hour. (yes, I have an hour. omg)

Anyone know anything about large-scale current-generated megaripples or internal bedfroms and penecontemporaneous deformation in relation to mechanical behaviour? Because I don't have a fucking clue.

Oh well, failing one of thirteen modules isn't that bad. And I'm going to get horribly drunk later with my friends and play World of Warcraft until I forget what subaqueous traction processes are: not that I really know what they are now, but the point still stands. :)

I had some sort of nervous breakdown last night, and I'm still all shaky and out of it this morning. bleugh. So I decided to be good and come into college very early to get started on cramming for today's exam, since I didn't want to be at home, and as a reward for my good behaviour, my brain made me forget my wallet. So I can't get books out, or even buy breakfast.

Since I'm currently going to explode from exams (8 exams, 10 days, 8 subjects I despise), I've been looking at pictures of kittens to came myself down, whilst eating lots of ice-cream. It seems to be doing the trick, so grab some ice-cream, since here is a teeny tiny kitten for you all.
